It looks completely symmetrical. This guitar is an electric acoustic guitar, that is it can be played in an purely acoustic manner, or it can be hooked up to an amplifier for enhance sound effects.
The fact that there is electronic microphone attached to the guitar requires a electric cable to extend from the guitar to the amplifier. The position of this electric cable is different for left-handed and right-handed guitar players, to avoid the strumming hand from being hindered by the cable.

A satisfied owner has this to say - "I am so pleased with the craftmanship and color. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a left-handed guitar for a beginner or advanced musician!"

This SX guitar is beautifully finished and sounds great with or without an amp. These controls are always place at the lowest edge of the guitar to allow easy access. Left-handed people strum with their left hand usually, so the electronic controls needs to be place on the right-edge of the guitar. Hence the guitar is called a left-handed guitar because the controls are manipulated with the left hand which is also use for strumming, while the right hand is use to control the chords.

An acoustic guitar do not have any electronic controls, so it can be used by both right-handed or left-handed people. Interestingly some acoustic guitar have an attached electronic pickup under the guitar strings, near the lower end of the guitar. Usually an electric cable is needed to connect the electronic pickup to the amplifier. To avoid having the electric cable getting to the way of the strumming left hand of the left-handed guitar player, this cord leaves the guitar from the right side of the guitar, hence the need for a left-handed electric acoustic guitar,

Ten Best Left-Handed Electric Guitar
